APICS CPIM Course Format & Outlines

FORMAT:

ExamPRO CPIM certification preparation workshops feature the latest in adult learning methodologies.

Each 2-day workshop features:

• 1-hour simulation exam

Computer Labs:

 

 

Participants use laptop computers and specially designed software to learn and apply critical skills. Each workshop day features a minimum  of 1 hour of computer lab time!

Live Simulations:

Basics of Supply Chain Management:

Module 1 of the ExamPRO Certification System Series prepares you for the Basics of Supply Chain Management (BSCM) exam. Major topics include a Beer Game simulation, mrp featuring Mr. Legoman,  S&OP production strategies experience and a quality tools case study. Also includes a review of current North American supply chain issues.

Master Planning of Resources:

Module 2 of the ExamPRO Certification System Series prepares you for the Master Planning of Resources (MPR) exam. Major topics include an introduction to  business planning, quantitative forecasting techniques,  lean distribution, S&OP best practices, and advanced master scheduling techniques. This workshop also includes a discussion of current distribution trends and issues.

Detailed Scheduling & Planning:

Module 3 of the ExamPRO Certification System Series prepares you for the Detailed Scheduling & Planning (DSP) exam. Major topics include advanced lot sizing techniques, establishing safety stocks, an advanced mrp case study, capacity planning exercises, line balancing simulation, collaborative supplier relationships, and supplier development.

Execution & Control of Operations:

Module 4 of the ExamPRO Certification System Series prepares you for the Execution & Control of Operations (ECO) exam. Major topics include, manufacturing layouts, a soft drink factory simulation, kanban, SMED exercise, 5S workplace organization, Quality tools case study, SPC, and a throughput simulation.

Strategic Management of Resources:

Module 5 of the ExamPRO Certification System Series prepares you for the Strategic Management of Resources (SMR) exam.

Major topics include  Business Planning, operational strategies, configuring planning systems, advanced supply chain concepts, measurement systems, and managing organizational change.
